Why I Do This

If you’ve ever looked at your calendar and thought, “When am I supposed to live and run a business?” — you’re my people. I started The Strategy Studio in 2025 after running my own handmade business. I truly felt that makers deserved a path that didn’t require sacrificing every night and weekend & this just isn’t something you find information on, online. You can keep your day job, protect your energy, and still build something you’re proud of in under 10 hours a week, it just takes a certain amount of pizazz!! But before diving in, let’s chat about my humble beginnings.

A little background: I began teaching in 2014 and have spent the last several years in elementary science (grades 2–5). I love my career — and I also knew I wanted more. In 2021, my daughter, Sophia, and I started a product-based business: Eleve Fine Soaps. Over the years we pitched, learned, grew, rebranded, and fine-tuned. We made the classic mistakes (too many SKUs, scattered launches) and then built a better way: fewer products, a weekly rhythm, and story-first marketing. That shift is the backbone of what I teach here because it made such a difference in my life.
